Second Dissemination Event of the ProCAncer-I Project in Lisbon

A great pleasure to have participated in the “AI and Machine Learning in Cancer Imaging 3.0 – Enhancing Healthcare through AI” event on 30th June & 1st July 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal. The event was organised jointly by the Champalimaud Foundation and the International Cancer Imaging Society.

During the event, we had a special session with the title: The best practices on machine learning for multicentric approacheswhere we discussed and presented the ProCAncer-I project

At the presentation and discussion panel participated members both of the ProCAncer -I project and the EuCanImage project: Nickolas Papanikolaou, Daniele Regge, Karim Lekadir, Maciej Bobowicz, Kostas Marias and Henkjan Huisman

The session was an opportunity for the researchers to engage with different stakeholders as well as the public. It aimed to promote the better understanding and application of AI and machine learning in cancer imaging for radiologists, technicians/ radiographers, scientists and industry partners.
